The aim of this “Cookies” Management Policy is to formalise our commitment to respecting the privacy of users browsing the www.enyter.com website (hereinafter the “Website”) operated by Enyter SAS (hereinafter “Enyter”).
This cookies policy (the “Policy”) applies when visiting the Enyter Website.
This policy is intended for Visitors to the Website, that is to say any person accessing the Website without being connected to a member or client account. The purpose of this Policy is to help you better understand:
- which cookies are likely to be placed on your computer, your tablet and/or your smartphone (“Device”) while you are visiting the Website, the purposes or functions they make it possible to implement, subject to the choices offered to you concerning a particular purpose, and

It applies in addition to the General Conditions of Use – Legal Notice and Personal Data Privacy Notice and the contractual conditions which may govern the use of the Website and the Services offered by Enyter. For the purposes of this Policy, the expression “cookie” designates either a cookie or a tracking cookie. For the sake of completeness, we would like to inform you of the difference in operation between what is generally referred to as a “cookie”, with its specific features, and what the expression “tracking cookie” means in reality and in terms of modes of operation.
1. What is a cookie?
A “cookie” is a small text file which can be stored by a server on the user’s device (computer, phone, etc.) and associated with a web domain (i.e. in most cases all the pages of a website) when visiting a website or using an application, through your browser software. This file is automatically returned on subsequent contacts with the same domain. A cookie file allows its issuer to identify the device on which the cookie is stored, during the period of validity or registration of that cookie.
Some cookies are essential for your use of the Website or for the provision of the services you have subscribed to or which are provided to you by Enyter in application of the contracts you have subscribed to. In this case, they are systematically placed on your Device.
Other cookies make it possible to optimise and personalise the available content or functionalities displayed on the Website. In this case, these cookies are placed and read on your Device subject to the choices offered to you on the Website.
There are different types of cookies:
- session cookies that are deleted when the User leaves the website;
- permanent or persistent cookies that remain on the User’s device until the end of their lifetime, or until the User deletes them by means of their browser features;
- first-party cookies that are installed by the website the user is visiting;
- third-party cookies installed by a domain other than the website the user is currently visiting.
Some cookies are “technical” cookies, which are installed exclusively to facilitate electronic communication or which are absolutely necessary for the provision of the internet service. They are automatically placed on your device as you browse the Website. You cannot deactivate them. Audience measurement cookies, advertising cookies and social network cookies, which are not strictly necessary, are placed on your device if you have consented to them by clicking on “accept”. 2. What is a “tracking cookie”?
The expression “tracking cookie” means an identifier placed on your Device, without any action by your browser software, which can be emitted by your Device and be read by a technical service provider to which your Device is connected, without this identifier having been placed on your Device by said service provider.
In practice, the expression “tracking cookie” most often refers to an identifier on your Device that is managed by its operating system. This is the case for the identifier of your mobile Device, where access to or reading of the identifier may be managed differently by the operating system concerned, depending on whether you are using an Android Device (the identifier is often called an “Android ID” or “AAID”) or iOS (the identifier is often called “IDFA” or “ID for Advertiser”), or another operating system.
The expression “tracking cookie” may also be used to refer to the identifier of a mobile application installed on your Device and which can be read by the publisher of the mobile application or by one of this publisher’s providers. This is the case for the “SDK” (“Software Development Kit”) number in particular; information flows between the mobile application installed on your Device and this application’s publisher (or its service providers) can be set up to allow the operation of the application’s various software components.
3. Why do we use cookies?
Enyter places cookies on your device to:
- enable Users to browse the Website;
- ensure and improve the functioning and security of the Website;
- perform statistical calculations;
- analyse website traffic and usage.
Enyter uses two cookies to do this:
- a “LinkedIn” cookie, which identifies visitors from the LinkedIn network
- a “Google Analytics” cookie, which allows analysis of website statistics
No third party is authorised to place cookies on your device.
You can use analytical cookies to deactivate recording of your anonymous browsing activity. The service providers we use are shown below, together with their respective privacy policies regarding collecting information and analysing your behaviour patterns.

Refusing or not accepting the implementation of such cookies or deleting them will not affect your Website browsing, but it may prevent us from ensuring the best quality of the services that we wish to provide you with.
4. Choice and management of cookies
When you connect to our Website, you are informed that cookies will be placed on your device, and you can decide to accept, refuse or customise the cookies that are subject to obtaining your consent. A tool for managing your consent is available on the Website home page, which allows you to configure your cookie choices at any time.
Most web browsers accept the placing or reading of cookies by default. 5. Cookie lifetime
The law requires cookies to have a maximum lifetime of 13 months. In the knowledge that people may forget what consent they have expressed at a given moment, CNIL (the French DPA) considers it necessary to set a time limit for such consent. At the end of this period, consent will be requested again on a subsequent visit to the Enyter website.
6. Data collected from cookies
Data collected from cookies are processed in accordance with the relevant regulations and the Personal Data Privacy Notice/privacy policy.
